James Hunt- 20 years ago!!! 1947-1993

20 years ago James Hunt died at 45, and coinciding with the film Rush (Ron Howard) I put my humble tribute to  him who was part of one of the most amazing F1 World Championships. In 1976 he took the World Championship from Niki Lauda with just a single point difference in the last dramatic race at Mount Fuji.

My tribute to Schumacher

My particular vision about Michael Schumacher' s statistics after his "second life" in F-1.
He really spoiled his numbers when you consider percentages (most important than "raw numbers" for me)

25 years ago Didier Pironi left our world to became a legend, the man who got Villeneuve angry and could have been world champion in 1982 if he hadn`t suffered the accident in Hockenheim when crashed Prost from behind preventing him to race again.
He would be ´82 runner-up.

1952-2012: 60 years of helmets in Formula 1

In 1952 was the first time drivers must wore rigid helmets instead of textile ones.
From the open versions of the 50s to jet to the sixties, in 1968 Dan Gurney was the first driver to introduce the integral helmet from Bell.
In XXI century we have the hyper tech helmets with radio, drinks and oxygen connections to ease driver´s life.
Here we illustrate Fangio´s and Schumacher´s helmets from 1952 and 2000 respectively.
